Sterzing – Hühnerspiel – Gossensass
Make your way from the station in the direction of Wiesen, then take the turn to Flains (km 2). Ride in the direction of Schmuders and then to the Braunhof (km 6). From here, go along the forest road until you reach the Brandner Alm (km 10.5) and then the Hühnerspiel Hut (km 13.5). From there, you have a long and enjoyable downhill drive on a wide path, which further down turns into the forest road to Gossensass (km 21) and back to Sterzing (km 26).
If you have lots of stamina, ride to Sterzing via Steckholz.
Stops for lunch: Braunhof, Brandner Alm, Hühnerspiel Hut.

Gossensass – Ladurns
You start at the Ibsenplatz in Gossensass (1,050 metres). From there, ride in the direction of the station, down the wide steps in the direction of the Pflersch Valley. At km 2, turn into a forest road to your left (1,077 metres). It will lead you (first steeply, then more comfortably) into the valley, which will end at km 7.2. From there, a small path will lead you through the forest (good bikers can ride, others: please push your bike). At km 7.6 you come back to the forest road. At km 8.7, you have the first possibility to turn off and stop for a while. Turn left – the road will lead you to two catering mountain pubs (1,731 metres).
Return journey:
From the pubs, turn back the same way. When you reach km 11.1 you turn back onto the forest road. Drive comfortably along until you come to km 15.2 and a path leading to Innerpflersch (see marking). Do not use this path! At km 15.7 you come to another crossing. A road, slightly ascending, will lead you to the most comfortable Allriss Alm (1,534 metres - snack).
From here, you continue your way descending – first on a gravel road and then a tarmac road. Pass the sports fields in Pflersch and make your way out of the valley towards Gossensass.

All around the Wechselalm
Shortly after the national road from Sterzing cross the railway line, you come to a forest road with the marking ’2’, which leads you towards the left. Ride along this road for about 1 km until you come to a number of curves. In the fifth bend, leave this road and ride along a path guiding you towards the Wechselalm (in the direction of Gossensass). As soon as you reach a crossroads, turn right. This road leads you nearly all the way to the Sandjoch (2,166 metres). Then you are only a few metres away from the national border. The military road runs along the frontier back to the Kreuzjoch mountain. The way leads you back to marking ‘2’ and on to the forest/military road. From here, ascend into the valley until you come to the village of Brennerbad.

Ochsenhütten tour
This tour is most suitable for families. For this reason, it is recommended to drive with your car until you reach Innerpflersch. At the church square there is a large parking lot, which is also the starting point for this 8 km long circular tour. From here, drive back to the sport fields until you reach the tarmac road to Stein (marked).
When you come to a right hand turn shortly before you cross the bridge to the farmhouses, there is a tree with a number of signs. One of these signs reads ‘Magdeburg Hut’. A gravelled road leads you from this tree right to a forest barrier and from there to the Ochsen Hut.
