Hühnerspielhütte

Coming from Sterzing/Vipiteno, continue on the state road in the direction of Brenner/Brennero. After 4 km, you reach the village of Gossensass/Colle Isarco. Follow the main road for about 3 km until you reach a sharp S-bend (first a right-hand bend, then one to the left). In the left-hand bend, there is a motorway exit on the right and a narrow asphalted road right next to it. Follow the narrow road for about 800m to the DAX car park, from where you can continue on foot along a forest path to the hut.

Variant starting point: park area Gossenass/Colle Isarco, village (1.098m)

From the village square in Gossenass/Colle Isarco the tour leads to the inn Nussbaumer and branches off on the right. Eastwards ascending, follow the old Postgasse past the Hotel Gudrun and towards Hochwieden, where you see a gate. From there the marked trail no. 22 leads upwards to the mountain hut Hühnerspielhütte (1.868m).
